This high-key image of a backlit Snow Bunting in flight was made during my Winter Snowy Owl Workshop this week. It is an excellent example of why I keep my shutter speed high enough to freeze action, even when the owl we were set up at wasn’t moving: I am always ready for extraordinary and unexpected action.
